Lynn Smith isn’t just the founder of Nor-Tex Air Conditioning & Refrigeration—he’s a name synonymous with integrity, service, and hometown pride in Durant, Oklahoma. Since opening Nor-Tex in 1969, Lynn has spent over five decades not only building a trusted business, but building up the community around it.
A true servant-leader, Lynn currently serves as President of the Durant Lions Club, where he continues to lead with heart, humility, and a deep commitment to helping others. Whether it's sponsoring a local fundraiser, volunteering at civic events, or checking in on neighbors just to lend a hand, Lynn has always gone above and beyond.
Known for his quick smile and even quicker work ethic, Lynn is the kind of friend you can always count on—and thousands across Bryan County have done just that. His dedication to honest service, family values, and community impact lives on through every Nor-Tex job and every life he’s touched.
